A day off for me, well sort of.....

It really was supposed to be my day off today since technically I will be working Saturday instead. We have to do that at least one Saturday a month. Usually if I do work that following Saturday, I just take the Monday before off so I end up getting a three day weekend before having a one day weekend. Well, I had scheduled a home eval for today before I realized it really was supposed to be my day off. So I just got back from the home eval that took a full hour longer than I thought it would. That is ok though, because by going to this patient's home eval with her, I was able to see if it really is safe for her to return home or whether we need to continue to work with her more. I think right now, her best option is to go home with extended care for her at home. Althgouh she is weak and very short of breath, she has reminded me that through her whole experience as a patient that she has learned to trust the Ultimate Healer through this entire thing. She has also helped to really cherish what I am able to do and to not waste my life away by not being active and being a blessing to others. So, I am glad I had her home eval today and I am glad she has been such a great patient for me. Well, here is a card I made a few days ago. It is one of the cards I will be doing at the Stamp a Stack tonight. I know, I know it is supposed to be my day off, but you know how it is.....
It is just a little 3x3 card using Pixie Pink, Green galore, and tempting Turquoise cardstock. I used the green brads from the brights collection of brads. I also used the tempting Turqouise 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon. For the stamped flower I used the little flower from the Tropical Party set which is in the Summer Mini catalog. All these colors except the Temping Turquoise are retiring at the end of the month. Bummer, but at least I will be able to use up some of those products tonight at the Stamp A Stack. Well, I am off to enjoy some more of my so called day off......
